We just lost our much-loved husband, dad, G'Pa and E'Pa. We called Jim Johnson for the service we wanted to plan. Bob was a Naval Officer, very much loved and respected, who had been celebrated for above-board achievements - honored by Naval battalions that he led, his civilian employer, RG&E, and much loved by a million family members, neighbors and friends. We had the immense burden of planning a final farewell that would honor his memory. Jim Johnson began assisting us and, by the time we all gathered graveside - in the bitter wind and snow - everyone present was so impressed by his meticulous planning of the event to commemorate this beautiful man and the outstanding example he set and exemplary life he led. Jim has a quiet, calm and unassuming manner about him, but you knew he could capably handle the occasion. Tall men are able to pull that off the best! He escorted us through the maze of planning on the worst few days of our lives with such ease - he made it so uncomplicated for all of us. He knows what he is doing and he goes about doing it in such a manner as to put you right at ease. Jim, our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to you, Courtney and Pam on a job well done - to honor a life well-lived. "You shine like the twinkliest star in the night sky.
